കർക്കിടക മാസത്തിന്റെ പവിത്രമായ അവസരത്തിൽ, പരമ്പരാഗതമായി രാമായണമാസമായി ആചരിക്കുന്ന ഈ വേളയിൽ, മലയാളികൾക്ക്എന്റെ ഹൃദയംഗമമായ അഭിവാദ്യങ്ങളും ആശംസകളും അറിയിക്കുന്നു.

ഈ പുണ്യമാസത്തിൽ അധ്യാത്മ രാമായണം പാരായണം ചെയ്യുന്ന പ്രിയപ്പെട്ട ആചാരം കേരളത്തിന്റെ സാംസ്കാരിക പൈതൃകത്തെ തലമുറകളായി സമ്പന്നമാക്കിയ ആഴമേറിയ ആത്മീയ പാരമ്പര്യമാണ്. രാമായണം വെറും ഒരു മഹാകാവ്യമല്ല; സത്യം, കടമ, കരുണ, വിനയം, നീതിയോടുള്ള അചഞ്ചല പ്രതിബദ്ധത എന്നീ ആദർശങ്ങളിലൂടെ നമ്മെ പ്രചോദിപ്പിക്കുന്ന ധർമ്മജീവിതത്തിന്റെ കാലാതീതമായ മാർഗദർശിയാണ്. ഭഗവാൻ ശ്രീരാമന്റെ ജീവിതം നൈതിക ധൈര്യവും നിസ്വാർത്ഥ സേവനവും തന്നെയാണ് ശക്തവും ഐക്യപൂർണ്ണവുമായ ഒരു സമൂഹത്തിന്റെ യഥാർത്ഥ അടിത്തറയെന്ന് നമ്മെ ഓർമ്മിപ്പിക്കുന്നു.

കുടുംബങ്ങൾ ഒന്നിച്ചുകൂടി രാമായണം പാരായണം ചെയ്യുകയും അതിനെക്കുറിച്ച് ധ്യാനിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുന്ന ഈ പവിത്രാചരണം നമ്മുടെ വിശ്വാസത്തെ ആഴപ്പെടുത്തുകയും, മൂല്യങ്ങളെ ശക്തിപ്പെടുത്തുകയും, നമ്മുടെ സമൂഹങ്ങളിൽ സമാധാനം, ഐക്യം, പരസ്പര ബഹുമാനം എന്നിവ വളർത്തുകയും ചെയ്യട്ടെ. ധർമ്മത്തിന്റെ ശാശ്വത സന്ദേശം നിഷ്കളങ്കതയോടെ ജീവിക്കാനും സമൂഹത്തിന്റെ ക്ഷേമത്തിനായി നമ്മെ സമർപ്പിക്കാനും നമ്മെ പ്രചോദിപ്പിക്കട്ടെ.
