സനാതന ധർമ്മം മനുഷ്യരാശിയെ ആകമാനം പുണർന്നു നിൽക്കുന്നു: ഗവർണർ

സമസ്ത മനുഷ്യരുടേയും ക്ഷേമം കാംക്ഷിക്കുന്ന സനാതന ധർമ്മം എല്ലാം പേരേയും ഉൾക്കൊള്ളുന്നതും, എല്ലാം വിവേചനങ്ങൾക്കും അതീതമാണെന്നും ഗവർണർ ശ്രീ രാജേന്ദ്ര വിശ്വനാഥ് ആർലേക്കർ പറഞ്ഞു. തൃശ്ശൂർ, തൃത്താലയിൽ ഇന്ന് നടന്ന ഹിന്ദു ധർമ്മ പരിഷത്ത് സംഗമം ഉദ്ഘാടനം ചെയ്ത് സംസാരിക്കുകയായിരുന്നു അദ്ദേഹം.

അതിവിശാല കാഴ്ചപ്പാടുകൾ ഉള്ള സനാതന ധർമ്മത്തിന്റെ തത്വങ്ങൾ, വിഭജനപരമല്ല, വിഭാഗീയമല്ല, നിയന്ത്രണാത്മകവുമല്ല" ഗവർണർ ചൂണ്ടിക്കാട്ടി.

സനാതനധർമ്മികൾ ലോകമെമ്പാടും എത്തിയത് ആ പ്രദേശങ്ങൾ കീഴടക്കാനോ, സ്വന്തമാക്കാനോ അല്ല, പകരം ജനഹൃദയങ്ങളിൽ സ്ഥാനം നേടാൻ വേണ്ടിയായിരുന്നു. മുൻ പ്രധാനമന്ത്രിയും, ഭാരതരത്ന ജേതാവുമായ ശ്രീ അടൽ ബിഹാരി വാജ്പേയിയുടെ വാക്കുകൾ ഉദ്ധരിച്ചുകൊണ്ട് ബഹു. ഗവർണർ പറഞ്ഞു.

ധർമ്മമാണ് ശരിയായ ആചാരമാണെന്നും, അത് മതത്തേക്കാളും, വിശ്വാസത്തേക്കാളും ഏറെ മുകളിലാണെന്നും അദ്ദേഹം സൂചിപ്പിച്ചു.

"കുടുംബങ്ങളിലും സമൂഹത്തിലും ധർമ്മം നിലനിൽക്കുകയാണെങ്കിൽ നമ്മുടെ കുട്ടികൾ വഴിതെറ്റുകയില്ല; അവർ നല്ല പൗരന്മാരായി വളരും" എന്നും അദ്ദേഹം കൂട്ടിച്ചേർത്തു.

വേദങ്ങളെ ഉദ്ധരിച്ച് ഗവർണർ പറഞ്ഞു: "യതോ ധർമ്മസ്തതോ ജയഃ" — ധർമ്മം നിലനിറുത്തുന്നവർക്കാണ് വിജയം.

കുട്ടികൾക്ക് ശരിയായ മൂല്യങ്ങൾ നൽകേണ്ടത് നമ്മുടെ ഉത്തരവാദിത്വമാണെന്ന് സൂചിപ്പിച്ച ഗവർണർ, ഓരോ ക്ഷേത്രത്തിനോടനുബന്ധിച്ചും, ഒരു വിദ്യാലയം, ഒരു ആതുരാലയം, ഒരു ഗോശാല എന്നിവ കൂടി ഉയർന്നു വരണമെന്നും ഇപ്രകാരം ക്ഷേത്രത്തിന് നാടിൻ്റെ സർവ്വതോന്മുഖമായ ക്ഷേമത്തിനായി പ്രവർത്തിക്കാൻ കഴിയുമെന്നും ഗവർണർ പറഞ്ഞു.

'വികസിത ഭാരതം' എന്ന പ്രധാനമന്ത്രി ശ്രീ നരേന്ദ്ര മോദിയുടെ സ്വപ്നം സാക്ഷാത്കരിക്കാൻ എല്ലാവരും ഒരുമിച്ചു പ്രവർത്തിക്കണമെന്നും ഗവർണർ ആഹ്വാനം ചെയ്തു.

'Sanatana Dharma: embraces whole humanity': Governor

The Hon'ble Governor Shri Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar said that Sanathana Dharma is all embracive, and it does not discriminate against anything. He was speaking after inaugurating the Hindu Dharma Parishad congregation at Thrithala today.

The Governor said that the tenets of Sanathana Dharma are very vast. It is neither divisive, nor sectarian, nor restrictive in any sense. Quoting the former Prime Minister, Bharat Ratna Atal Bihari Vajpayee, the Governor reminded all that 'Hindus went to the whole world, not for conquest, nor for any piece of land, but to win the hearts of people'.

The Governor observed that Dharma is right conduct and it is much above religion which is a matter of belief or faith. If we uphold our Dharma in our families and society, our children will not go astray and they will make themselves to be good citizens. Quoting the Vedas, the Governor said 'yatho dharmasya, thatho jaya'- victory belongs to those who uphold Dharma.

Noting that it is our responsibility to impart proper values to our children, the Governor said that every temple should maintain a school, a hospital and a Goshala as well - so that the offerings from the temple could be channelised in the right direction for the benefit of the whole society.

The Governor also called upon everyone to work to make the Prime Minister's dream of 'Viksit Bharat' a reality.
