Hon'ble Governor Shri Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar has condoled the sad demise of veteran Congress leader and former Minister P.P. Thankachan.
In his message, the Governor said that Thankachan's devoted public service as Speaker, Minister, KPCC President, UDF Convenor will always be remembered with gratitude.
The Governor has conveyed his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family and colleagues.

മുതിര്ന്ന കോണ്ഗ്രസ് നേതാവും മുന് മന്ത്രിയുമായിരുന്ന പി.പി. തങ്കച്ചന്റെ നിര്യാണത്തില് ഗവര്ണര് ശ്രീ രാജേന്ദ്ര വിശ്വനാഥ് ആർലേക്കര് അനുശോചനം രേഖപ്പെടുത്തി.
സ്പീക്കര്, മന്ത്രി, കെ.പി.സി.സി. പ്രസിഡന്റ്, യു.ഡി.എഫ്. കൺവീനർ എന്നീ നിലകളില് തങ്കച്ചന് കാഴ്ചവെച്ച സമര്പ്പിതമായ പൊതുസേവനം എന്നും നന്ദിയോടെ ഓര്ക്കപ്പെടും എന്നും ഗവര്ണര് തന്റെ സന്ദേശത്തില് പറഞ്ഞു.
അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ കുടുംബത്തോടും, സഹപ്രവർത്തരോടും അനുശോചനം അറിയിക്കുന്നു. അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ അത്മാവിന് നിത്യശാന്തി നേരുന്നു, ഗവര്ണര് അനുശോചന സന്ദേശത്തില് പറഞ്ഞു.
